The installer for my new motor and other parts was Ken H. Another outstanding employee who knows his job, very respectful and great to have at our house. Recommend this company highly. Message: I needed a new garage door opener. I went to their office on a Saturday to see what was available and what schedule they offer. A young lady helped me and seemed very knowledgeable. I was please to know they offer Saturday appointments. My appointment was set for 2 weeks out with an 8am-10am window. The service was expected to take 2-3 hours. They called the day before to confirm and showed up at 7:57am the next day. The technician was very friendly and appeared knowledgeable as well. The time to complete the project was close to what was mentioned. It was a great overall experience. On a side note, they have a billboard up right now that just says Merry Christmas. Not trying to sell anything, just giving good wishes. That was cool to see. Thank you.

Message: I'd give them 10 stars if that were an option. Garage door tension spring snapped over the Labor day holiday and I was on a short window to get it fixed; they were out bright and early on Tuesday/today and got it done with a quickness! Very much appreciated and cant say enough about their professionalism! I do definitely recommend Thompson Garage Doors.

Message: We live in Hawthorne and we were happy to hear that they would come serve our area. We called on a Monday and they were here on a Wednesday at the appointment time. The gentleman was kind and courteous. Did the job in one trip and it was done correctly. We are extremely happy with our experience. We had called some other companies that claimed it would take more then one trip to complete the job and it would be weeks before they could get to us.

Message: Update: thompson reached out and were here today. Apparently the lock that was installed doesn't allow door to be opened from the inside. it is a universal lock. Just something we will have to get use too.. thompson installed my garage door. approximately 8 months ago, we had them put in new hardware. recently I had to place a service call because my key quit working. I explained this when I placed the call. the tech who came, removed the hand guard on the inside, shaves the screws and tells me it is fix. I was charged 128. 00 for this. we used the door and the key would not lock the door again. today new tech comes over ends up replacing the lock and telling me he is not going to charge me for it. in my opinion I should get a refund for the 128, because there was a defect in the lock they originally installed. so my husband has come home and checked the work. we now have problem. when the garage is locked from the outside, you can not open from the inside and you have to go back outside to unlock it so you can open from the inside.
